What is NAD+

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide
NAD+ (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme that plays a critical role in cellular metabolism and energy production.  Supplementing with NAD+ precursors or administering NAD+ via IV infusion may help prevent age-related diseases and extend lifespan
Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+) is a life giving molecule, and here’s why… NAD+ is vital for (ATP) energy production which fuels the the Mitchochondria or the powerhouse of our cells. NAD+ is naturally synthesized from a group of chemical compounds known as vitamin B3 or niacin. It is constantly changing forms and being recycled within our cells for reuse. NAD+ levels are highest in newborns and slowly decline with age, to almost less than half by the age of 50 and almost undetectable levels at 65+. Low NAD+ levels are not only attributed to the aging but also low energy, oxidative stress or increased free radical damage, poor cell survival, impaired DNA repair and associated disease processes. But fortunately, research shows our cells take up extracellular NAD+ very well.
